Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Airsparow ("we", "us", "our"), a travel agency located at 13234 Telecom Dr, STE 117, Tampa, FL 33637, collects, uses and discloses personal information when you visit Airsparow.com, call or email us, or book travel with us. It also explains the choices and rights you have, including rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA) and other US state privacy laws. We do not sell your personal information for money.
Information we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we collect the following categories of personal information:
- Identifiers and contact details: name, postal address, email address, phone number and booking references.
- Traveler information: date of birth, gender, nationality, passport or other ID details, Known Traveler Number or Redress Number, frequent-flyer numbers, and the names of people traveling with you.
- Payment information: billing name and address, and payment confirmation details (such as the amount, date and last four digits of the card). Card numbers and security codes are entered directly on the secure payment page of Stripe — including when you book by phone and we email you a payment link — so we never see or store your full card details.
- Special requests: meal preferences, or accessibility and mobility needs you ask us to pass to the airline. Some of this may be sensitive personal information, which we use only to fulfil your request.
- Commercial information: searches, quotes, bookings and purchase history.
- Communications: emails, chat messages and recordings of phone calls (we tell you at the start of a call if it may be recorded for quality and training purposes).
- Internet and device activity: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring site and approximate location derived from your IP address, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
How we collect it
- Directly from you when you search, book, make an inquiry, subscribe to emails, or contact us by phone, email or social media.
- From the person who books on your behalf, such as a family member making a group booking — they confirm they have your permission to share your details.
- Automatically from your device when you use our Site (see our Cookie Policy).
- From airlines, fare consolidators, payment processors and fraud-prevention services involved in your booking.
How we use it
- To search fares, make, ticket and manage your bookings, and send confirmations, e-tickets and schedule-change notices.
- To process payments, verify identity and prevent fraud and chargeback abuse.
- To provide customer support and handle changes, refunds and complaints.
- To comply with legal obligations, including government security programs such as TSA Secure Flight and US Customs and Border Protection requirements, tax and accounting rules, and lawful requests from authorities.
- To send you marketing emails or texts where you have agreed to receive them, and to measure and improve our Site and advertising.
How we share it
We disclose personal information only as needed for the purposes above:
- Travel suppliers: airlines, consolidators and other providers who deliver the travel you book. Their own privacy policies apply to the information they receive.
- Government authorities: airlines transmit traveler data to the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), US Customs and Border Protection and foreign authorities as required by law.
- Service providers: companies that help us operate our business — payment processing, fraud prevention, booking systems, email delivery, IT hosting, analytics and customer support — under contracts that restrict their use of your data.
- Advertising partners: if you allow advertising cookies, partners such as Google and Meta may receive device and browsing data to show you relevant ads. Under some state laws this may be considered "sharing" or "targeted advertising" (see "Your privacy choices" below).
- Legal and business transfers: where required by law or legal process, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a merger or sale of our business.
Travel to international destinations requires us to send your information to suppliers and authorities outside the United States, where data protection laws may differ.
Your privacy choices and state privacy rights
Depending on where you live — including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon and other states with consumer privacy laws — you may have the right to:
- Know and access the personal information we have collected about you, the sources, purposes and the categories of recipients.
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions (for example records we must keep for tax or regulatory purposes).
- Obtain a copy of your information in a portable format.
- Opt out of the sale of personal information, "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising, and targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information for money.
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information. We use sensitive information only to provide the services you request.
- Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.
To exercise your rights, email sales@airsparow.com with the subject "Privacy request" or call +1-877-652-3939. We will verify your request by matching information you provide with our records, and respond within the time required by law (generally 45 days). You may use an authorized agent, who must provide proof of your permission. If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision; residents of some states may also contact their state Attorney General.
Global Privacy Control: we treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a valid request to opt out of sharing and targeted advertising for that browser. Our Site does not otherwise respond to "Do Not Track" signals.
Marketing emails and text messages
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any email, or by contacting us. If you sign up for text messages, you can reply STOP to opt out; message and data rates may apply. We will still send transactional messages about your bookings.
Children's privacy
Our Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them online. We collect children's details only from a parent or guardian when they book travel for a child.
How we protect your information
We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including TLS/SSL encryption in transit, access controls and PCI DSS–compliant payment processing. No system is completely secure; if a breach affects your personal information we will notify you as required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep booking and payment records for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet legal, tax, accounting and dispute-resolution requirements — generally up to seven years after travel. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new "Last updated" date and, where changes are material, notify subscribed users by email.
